Hotel Las Brisas is situated right in the center of Chacala beach . Chacala is a hidden treasure and it’s just one hour north of the Puerto Vallarta airport on highway 200 that stretches on to Guadalajara. The turnoff at Las Varas is about a mile and the road winds through pineapple groves, red soil and fabulous lush jungle.
The tiny fishing village of Chacala offers a wide choice of activities: fishing, whale watching (October thru February), hot springs, surfing at La Calletta, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, fishing and lobster diving, As well, there’s a lot of small villages nearby just waiting to be visited on market day
The menu offers traditional regional cuisine as well as the families signature dishes – Mexican-style Chilaquiles, Fish Ceviche and Shrimp Empanadas, Pina Coladas, Margaritas and seasonal fresh juices are refreshing after a day at the beach.
