Ricardo Vidargas was born, and raised, in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. In 1997, Ricardo returned to San Miguel from a successful New York City photography business to restructure and administrate Instituto Allende’s photography department. During this time period, Ricardo also managed the Marketing Department of Dotty Vidargas Real Estate, founded in the early 60’s by Dotty Vidargas, San Miguel de Allende’s first Realtor. Dotty Vidargas joined AMPI in 2003, the year AMPI was introduced to San Miguel, and Ricardo became a certified AMPI member in 2008. Ricardo is presently the owner of Dotty Vidargas Real Estate, President of AMPI’s Fund Raising Committee and President of Va Por San Miguel de Allende, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and preservation of San Miguel’s natural and cultural heritage.
