Casa Buena Art Retreat

Dallas and Jane, photographer and artist, warmly welcome you to Casa Buena – a very special retreat center.

Fun and informative art, yoga and dance retreats facilitated by first-class instructors are held in a charming tropical setting a 20 minute drive from the renowned village of old Port San Blas and just two hours north of Puerto Vallarta International Airport.

The artsy oceanview casa set between Mexico’s fabulous west Pacific Coast and the picturesque Sierra Madre mountains features a large living room, ample studio space and spacious guestrooms with private ensuite washrooms with showers.

Three daily meals are prepared with fresh local ingredients. Guests are welcome to enjoy meals in the dining room or on the casa’s large hacienda-style ocean view porch that overlooks the property’s lush, tropical gardens – lovingly tended to by Dallas. Bagged lunches are included for day trips and you are welcome to prepare your own meals in one of the 2 kitchen facilities.

Casa Buena is a perfect place to relax & rejuvenate, practice yoga, laze in the sun or take a short walk to one of the nearby pristine beaches. The folks at Casa Buena will transport you to painting locations in one of their vehicles. Hint: The Old Marina in San Blas is a welcome subject to paint or photograph.

Casa Buena provides a safe, non-judgmental environment where students are free to experiment with several different mediums while having a fun time.

The friendly, laid-back retreat center motivates and inspires artists of all levels to re-create the color and culture of authentic Mexican towns, virgin beaches and friendly locals and enquire about Private room and/or house rental available from Dec 15 to May 15 annually.
