I would like to share the following info re: an unfortunate house fire – a little bit of help goes a long ways!
“Many of you will know Jaime, the bartender at The Drunken Duck in Bucerias Centro. His mother’s house had a fire last week and she lost everything. She is now staying with Jaime’s brother.
You are invited to attend the Benefit at the Drunken Duck at 7 PM on Sunday August 19th. Deep River will host and The Rhythm Roosters (Formerly Juan-Ted and The AMAZING Rhythm Roosters) will guest.
In the meantime, Jaime’s mom needs donations of everything from clothing to furniture, appliances etc. Everything in her house was a total loss. There aren’t a lot of us here this time of year, so please step up and do what you can. Her Mexican clothing size is 38 and shoe size is 23.
Donations can be dropped off at the Drunken Duck after 3PM Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They are closed the rest of the week. Your support is appreciated.
