Peyote People Gallery, Juarez 222, Downtown Puerto Vallarta

Peyote People Gallery is a fair trade co-operative based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, that has been recognized by the Huichol Indian Traditional Government of San Andres, Cohamaita for not only promoting their artwork, but also for their commitment to the preservation of the Huichol customs and traditions through “CULTURAL AUTHENTICITY”:

“Cultural Authenticity may be an invisible quality but it is what separates the ‘urban’ Huichol from those who actually live in the Sierra and are actively involved in the preservation of their cultures and traditions.”

The inaugural fiesta for ‘Colectika’ took place on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at PEYOTE PEOPLE GALLERY, by welcoming two Oaxacan artists and their collectible class of Mexican Folk Art.

Now Vallarta has two valuable repositories of Huichole arts, crafts and artifacts!
