In 2004 Federico decided to reduce his participation in art galleries and opened the Estudio Cafe & Gallery on the marina waterfront of Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, mexico. The cafe has evolved into a meeting ground for artists and writers from various countries, as well as a venue for cultural activities, book presentations, music concerts and artists’ workshops.

Through his work, Federico seeks to express the significance of everyday life through original points of view. Landscapes, seascapes, people, fruits, chairs, and common objects such as shoes, are seen in a special light: two pears may become lovers as in Federico’s painting the “Intimate Pair”.

Federico´s Style can be described as impressionistic, his subjects originate mostly from nature, still, at times may be whimsical. His palette is on the bright side. His favorite formats are large, mostly starting at 3×4 feet.

Federico´s paintings are shown and sold at his family’s Estudio Cafe & Gallery in Nuevo Vallarta.
