El Patio 77, Eco-Friendly B&B has the notoriety of being Mexico City’s first eco-friendly bed and breakfast. El Patio 77 and Gallery “la77” are located at Icazbalceta 77, Colonia San Rafael, in a gorgeous 19th century home three blocks from the San Cosme subway station that leads directly to the Zocola – Mexico City`s main plaza – where you can visit modern skyscrapers, Colonial cathedrals and ancient Aztec ruins all on the same day.
El Patio 77 was completely renovated in 2009. The eight upscale, modern rooms and suites are individually decorated in simplistic, elegant style. Whimsical touches of folk art add color and represent artisans all over the Republic.
Oaxaca, Chihuahua and Chiapas luxury suites have a private bathroom. Veracruz, Michoacan, Guerrero, DF and Hidalgo have shared washrooms. All rooms have Wi-Fi and one or two balconies with assorted views of the two beautiful courtyard gardens.
A delicious Mexican breakfast is served each morning in your choice of the 2 private courtyard gardens. The menu changes each daily.
El Patio is located in San Rafael barrio, one of Mexico City`s oldest areas. The nearby Reforma Avenue is home to Eco, Chopo and San Carlos museums, theatres and a fabulous choice of dining establishments.
