EL ARRAYÁN Puerto Vallarta is the creation of Carmen Porras. Carmenès love of Mexico and the country’s varied cuisine shines through in the menu, Mexican-inspired decor and the laid-back, friendly ambiance.
The traditional menu encompasses specialties from many regions of Mexico – Jamaica Flower Quesadillas with Oaxaca cheese, Yucatan-Pig’s Feet, Plantain Empanadas from Veracruz, Colima-style Ceviche and, for the adventurous palate, Roasted Chapulines Tacos. Yes – you can dine on crunchy crickets wrapped in tortillas with a side of green tomatillo and avocado salsa without visiting Oaxaca. If you’re not into crickets, the menu has vegetarian specialities to choose from. Food allergies are taken into consideration.
The restaurant is open daily (except Tuesday). On Saturday evenings, during winter season, the FriXoleros Musica duo entertain patrons with a repertoire of old revolutionary and typical Mexican folk ballads.
Special menus and offsite catering can be arranged for weddings, rehearsal parties, group and family events.
